Two Brake Platforms, One Proven Design

OEM Hellcat brakes are built to sell a car, not to stop it at 700+ horsepower - single-piece G3000 cast iron rotors with no performance surface treatment and dusty semi-metallic pads. Ghost Brakes replaces both with race-proven 2-piece front rotors, drilled and slotted rears, and carbon ceramic pads - matched to your exact brake generation.

Dodge updated the Hellcat brake platform for the 2021 model year, so the correct kit depends on which generation you own. Pick your car below for full fitment, part numbers, and specs:

Frequently Asked Questions

What rotors come in a Hellcat brake kit?

Ghost Brakes Hellcat brake kits use G3500 metallurgy 2-piece floating front rotors and G11H18 metallurgy 1-piece rear rotors - both diamond-slotted, double-drilled, and GEOMET coated, with matched low-dust carbon ceramic pads. Two SKUs cover the platform: 777-XAM1014 (2015-2020, 390mm) and 777-XAM1033 (2021+, 400mm).

How do I know which Hellcat generation I have?

Model year is the fastest check. 2015-2020 Challenger and Charger Hellcat trims use the 390mm brake platform. 2021 and newer use the updated 400mm platform. The two are not interchangeable - see our dedicated 2015-2020 and 2021+ pages for full fitment and part numbers.

Do Hellcat brake kits fit both Challenger and Charger?

Yes. Both generations fit Dodge Challenger Hellcat and Dodge Charger Hellcat variants. Chrysler 300 SRT8 (2005-2020) uses a dedicated 777-XAM1043 kit on the same 390mm-era hardware - see the Chrysler 300 SRT brake kits page.

Do I need to upgrade Hellcat brake pads?

Yes, if you drive aggressively or track your Hellcat. OEM semi-metallic pads fade under repeated high-speed stops and produce heavy dust. Ghost Brakes carbon ceramic pads resist fade at Hellcat braking temperatures, last 3-5x longer than factory pads, and keep wheels cleaner. Every kit ships with matched pads.
