Wrangler and Gladiator diffs and transfer cases see water ingress, heat, and shock load on every trail outing. Add 35"+ tires and the ring and pinion gears work harder at every crawl ratio. Neglected fluid leads to whine, shudder engaging 4WD, and expensive Dana axle damage.

If you regularly wheel a Rubicon or Mojave with 35s, cut the factory interval roughly in half. Re-geared axles run hotter and benefit from 75W-140 in the front diff.

Any Jeep that sees creek crossings pushes the same moisture exposure onto rotors that it does onto diff housings. GEOMET-coated rotors resist the surface rust that untreated OEM rotors develop after repeated off-road use — the same logic that makes diff fluid changes non-negotiable applies to brake corrosion.
