The 6.2L supercharged Hemi uses a dedicated intercooler coolant loop with an electric pump. Heat, age, and track use stress the pump. Failure reduces charge air cooling efficiency and can trigger power reduction or overheating warnings.

Log IAT before and after pulls with a scanner. Rising intake temps under similar conditions often precede pump failure.

Use the correct Mopar coolant spec for the intercooler loop. Flush on schedule, inspect hoses, and consider upgraded pump solutions if you track regularly. Heat management extends to brakes — warped rotors and faded pads are the brake-side equivalent of IAT creep.
