Slyde Over — Lifetime Manufacturing Defect Warranty

Slyde Over proudly stands behind the quality and performance of our brake components. All Slyde Over brake rotors are covered by a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, beginning from the original date of purchase.

What is Covered

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Material defects
  • Structural integrity issues under normal driving conditions
  • Premature failure due to manufacturing fault

Slyde Over will, at its sole discretion:

  • Replace the defective product, or
  • Issue a replacement of equal value

What is NOT Covered

This warranty does NOT cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper installation
  • Improper brake bedding procedure
  • Incorrect brake pad compatibility
  • Overheating due to aggressive or abusive driving
  • Racing, track use, or competition use
  • Cosmetic issues (surface rust, discoloration, pad transfer)
  • Damage caused by vehicle mechanical issues
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or abuse
  • Labor costs
  • Installation costs
  • Shipping costs
  • Loss of vehicle use
  • Any indirect or incidental damages

Important: Warped Rotor Misconception

Brake rotor vibration or pulsation is most commonly caused by:

  • Improper installation
  • Hub runout issues
  • Improper bedding procedure
  • Uneven pad transfer
  • Excessive heat

Warping after installation is not considered a manufacturing defect unless proven to be outside factory tolerance upon delivery.

Slyde Over manufactures all rotors to strict tolerance standards.

Big Brake Kits and 2-Piece Rotors

The following items are considered final sale and are NOT covered under the lifetime warranty:

  • Big Brake Kits
  • 2-Piece Rotors
  • Custom or special-order brake systems

These are performance components subject to extreme conditions and require professional installation and maintenance.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To submit a claim, contact:

Include:

  • Full Name
  • Order Number
  • Vehicle Information
  • Description of issue
  • Photos and/or video showing the defect

Slyde Over will review the claim and provide next steps.

Customers are responsible for shipping products for warranty inspection unless otherwise approved.
